Market creation costs
Listing fee, on-chain deploy rent, and ongoing creator economics.
At a glance
Listing fee ($10 USDC or SOL equivalent) is due on the fund step. On-chain rent is small and non-refundable; pool depth comes from traders buying shares.
| Cost | Estimate | When due |
|---|---|---|
| Protocol listing fee | $10 USDC or SOL equivalent (live price) | Fund step after wizard |
| On-chain account rent | Small SOL rent (varies) | Same deploy transaction when on-chain |
| Trading pool liquidity | Built by traders buying shares | Not a separate creator seed step |
| Oracle / resolution | Varies by source | At resolution (pass-through) |
The fund step pays the protocol listing fee to treasury — not a creator-chosen seed pool. On USDC parimutuel markets, pool depth grows as traders buy outcome shares. Creators may earn a share of trading fees on markets they launch (rate TBD).
