Place your first trade
From discovery to a Yes/No position on a prediction market.
At a glance
You are buying outcome shares into a shared USDC pool, not sending a tip. Max loss equals what you pay in the trade panel unless you sell before resolution.
Quick tip
Read How trading & liquidity work if odds or the order book are confusing — Market and Limit behave differently.
Trading on Bullymarket means buying outcome shares on a prediction market — you are expressing a view that an event resolves Yes or No. Connect Phantom and complete the wallet sign-in prompt when asked. On deployed markets, buys settle in USDC on-chain; amounts display in SOL or USD based on Settings.
Odds on each card reflect how much USDC is staked on each outcome — the shared pool model described in How trading & liquidity work. A 30% Yes price means the market roughly prices a 30% chance — you profit if you buy Yes and the event resolves Yes, or if you sell later at a higher price than you paid. New markets can be traded immediately; the first buyers start the pool. If you are new to prediction markets, start with a small size until you are comfortable with resolution rules and fee estimates.

Walkthrough
- 1
Find a market
Start on Overview for trending cards or open Predictions for the full grid. Use category tabs (Politics, Sports, Crypto, …) and search to narrow results. Each card shows implied odds — binary markets use the semicircle %, sports cards show team lines. Click anywhere on the card body to open the detail page.

Read the detail page
Before trading, scan the price chart for recent movement, open Rules for resolution criteria, and glance at the order book for bid/ask depth. The header shows category, volume, and bookmark controls. On desktop the trade panel sticks on the right; on mobile it sits below the chart.

Choose Yes or No
In the trade panel, select the outcome you believe will win. Yes and No tabs switch the side you are buying. The panel updates estimated cost per share, number of shares, and potential payout based on your amount input.

Enter size and review
Type a USDC amount for on-chain markets. Check the fee estimate and max loss — you can only lose what you stake. To earn market rewards instead of crossing the spread, switch to Limit in the trade panel (see Limit orders & order book in Docs).

Confirm the transaction
Press the primary action in the trade panel. On supported markets, Phantom opens with a USDC instruction — confirm market, outcome side, and amount. Sign in with your wallet if Bullymarket prompts you.
